Hard Rock Applications

The world renowned ICON concentrator is commonly used to concentrate ball mill discharge from Hard Rock Mines. Miners around the world are commonly using Mercury in a process called ‘Whole Ore Amalgamation.’

The ICON Concentrator allows the miner to ‘concentrate’ or ‘reduce’ the amount of ore to process by as much as 1000 to 1.

• Blue Bowl Concentration or Tabling (without chemicals)
• Cyanide Leaching (Recommended by the Global Mercury Project)
• Mercury Amalgamation (Not recommended, but commonly practiced)
